QUANTITATIVE CONTENT OF TRITERPENE SAPONINS IN RAW MATERIALS OF SALVIA STEPPOSA SCHOST

Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of qualitative and quantitative content of triterpene saponins in Salvia Stepposa Schost. raw materials. To identify triterpene compounds in raw materials, water-alcohol and aqueous extracts were used, in which their presence was determined using generally accepted qualitative reactions, and their relationship to the triterpene nature was also established. Quantitative determination of saponins in raw materials was determined by measuring the optical density of the obtained complexes in reaction with concentrated sulfuric acid. The content of triterpene saponins in the studied raw materials was: in leaves - 1.96%, in flowers - 1.90% and in grass - 2.02%.
